Can your child participate in school activities?
Once in school, children with kidney transplants should take part as fully as possible in school activities. There are very few limits on physical activities. Please refer to the section on sports. Your transplant surgeon will discuss with you any activity restrictions in the first few weeks after the transplant related to the surgery itself.
