IMMUNOLOGICAL AND MOLECULAR CLASSIFICATION OF SCID

SCID can be classified in two groups based on the blood lymphocyte phenotype
  • Patients lacking T cells with normal or increased B cells: T-B+SCID
  • Patients lacking T and B cells: T-B-SCID
