A common problem with transplant patients is gaining too much weight. Babies, children, and teens are expected to gain weight as they get older. It is needed for growth. But too much weight can easily happen.

It is also hurt your child's self-image, especially in teenage years. A healthy life syle is the key to controlling your child's weight gain and reducing their risk for heart disease. It includes regular exercise and a healthy, well-balanced, low-fat diet.
