Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) part 23




Recently, additional serologic methods have been developed  that do not have lymphocytotoxicity as an end point. One is based on flow cytometric analysis of alloantibodies binding to panel donor lymphocytes or beads coated with different HLA molecules. Serum screening is also now being done with an ELISA assay that uses solubilized HLA antigens immobilized on a solid surface.
